🕯️Candle Care Guide

During the FIRST burn,

  • Ensure that you burn your candles for at least 2 hours till you obtain a visible melt pool (see below)

What if I didn't achieve a melt pool?

A successive number of short burns may create a tunneling effect. Tunneling happens when the candle is extinguished after short burns and is not able to create a wide burn pool. If this does happen, burn for at least 2 hours.

If you still do not achieve a melt pool, please contact us on IG DM @ateuphoriacandles immediately. Our TEAM EUPHORIA would assist you.

During subsequent burns:

  • Ensure that you trim your wick to 5-6 mm before each burn
  • Trimming yout wicks too short would result in a tunneling effect or small flame. Trimming your wicks too
  • Keep your candles away from flammable materials
  • Abide by all candle safety regulations at all times

🕯️Candle Troubleshooting

Let's fix your candle! What does your candle look like?

rough tops after burning

🍄 Mushroom Wick

Cause: The "mushroom" shape sometimes seen at the end of a candle wick after burning is the result of carbon buildup.

Action: Be sure to trim your wick to 5-6 mm each time you burn the candle.

🕳️Tunneling Candle

Cause: A candle wick consumes too much wax too quickly. Instead of a slowly forming, wide melt pool that extends to the edges of a container, a narrow melt pool forms in the center and burns down quickly, leaving a large amount of wax on the sides of the container.

Action: Contact our TEAM EUPHORIA via IG DM @ateuphoriacandles for a home remedy solution

🖤Black Soot/Smoke

Cause: While you’re burning a candle you may notice some smoke coming from the flame. This is normal. Anything that burns will produce smoke, but our candles will not produce excess visible smoke.

Action: Be sure to trim your wick to 5-6 mm each time you burn the candle.

🔥Rough Tops

Cause: The rough, bumpy tops after burning a soy wax candle are caused when the hot wax in the melt pool cools and solidifies at an inconsistent rate. This is a feature of soy wax, and not a sign you did anything incorrectly.

In fact, this is a clear sign that our candles are 100% made from natural soy wax!
